It’s official, the changeover is complete. Robin and Keith have taken over management here at Hillsboro bowling alley.
Here’s what you can expect, and look forward to.
We will be having a slight pricing restructure. But don’t worry, if you’ve already booked a party, your time, date, and the price will be honored at the rate you reserved it. To make a booking for a party from here on out, visit our calendar page where you can see what dates are reserved, and use the form to book your date. Our phone number has remained the same, so feel free to give us a phone call as well.
We are now open throughout the week with regular working hours.
We are working to renovate our kitchen to be able to serve a more full menu. We have also been giving the place a thorough scrub down, and making repairs to our equipment.
One unfortunate setback is that we don’t have the licensing in place yet for our bar, and gambling machines. Please be patient as we restore those services as soon as possible.
Don’t worry though, Robin is still able to serve pizzas and sodas for your party. She has even figured out how to make them better.
We are planning to have after-school programs, and re-institute leagues. If you have a question or comment in those areas, leave us a comment on our contact page. You can also call and let us know what you have to say about that.
Once those setbacks are completed, watch for a huge grand opening coming soon. Until then bowling is still available. Stop in for some open bowl, or book a party, and we would be glad to serve you.
Hey, I read in this post that you didn’t have the license for the gambling machines yet, just a suggestion, but maybe you could consider selling those to aim for a more family focused establishment. I am a local in Hillsboro looking to support more family friendly businesses.
We have considered that possibility. As it turns out, those machines are owned by a third party and not by us. Right now we’re focused on getting our kitchen renovated and license
as an extra thought, if you would prefer to have no gambling the best thing that can happen is for you and others to start bowling more. If our sales proves that gambling is not needed, we would definitely consider not bringing it back.just keep spreading the word that the bowling alley has new management. Thanks.
